These argentium sterling silver disc stud or post back earrings are hollow formed, meaning that they were made of two separate parts joined together for a 3 dimensional earring. The top has a graceful domed surface with a unique texture which reminded us of Europa's surface which we created with our rolling mill. The post backs are completed with generous clutch backs to keep them securely in place. Finished with an oxidized patina to emphasize the texture and polished to a gleam. *We prefer using Argentium silver in our designs when possible. Argentium is higher in pure silver content .935 over regular sterling .925 and is a superior silver in many ways. It is also eco-friendly, as it is made using recycled silver and its superior properties include being stronger, and more tarnish resistant which means less intensive manufacturing processes and upkeep on the final product. It costs a little more but the results are worth it.
