Pachamama, Jasper And Turquoise Necklace, Goddess Pendant, Argentium Sterling Silver, One Of A Kind
This Inca Pachamama inspired goddess pendant featuring jasper, turquoise and sterling silver is a beautiful reminder of all humanities treasure, our Planet Earth. She is crafted in our studio using traditional metalsmith skills. The large teardrop shaped Maligano Jasper cabochon is adorned with a twisted and flattened sterling silver wire surrounding the fine silver bezel and represents the body of the Goddess.
The four Quechua cosmological principles of water, Earth, Sun And Moon are represented by the crown or head of the pendant with the beautiful turquoise representing earth. The chevron patterned half circle represents water, the three radiating lines represent the sun while the circular back plate and textured top edge represents the moon.
In ancient Andean tradition Pachamama is an earth Mother and fertility goddess and in today's modern Andean society often represents mother nature.
Pendant measures 2and 5/8" tall and 1" wide at the widest point. This pendant is one of a kind.
Sterling Silver Chain measures 20" and is finished with our handmade findings. The chain can be shortened upon request.
